Claude skills for content and social media: 21 skills reviewed
The skills that help your AI agent write, create visuals and schedule posts: what each one does, whether it posts on your behalf, its trust level under our method and how to install it.
The short answer
For writing, Anthropic's Marketing plugin (Anthropic) is the safest starting point: instructions only, no scripts. Add Humanizer to remove the AI tone from your texts. To publish from your agent, go through the scheduling tool you already use: Typefully skill, Postiz Agent, Buffer MCP server or Metricool MCP server. Skills that pull LinkedIn, Facebook or Threads data through scrapers are a grey area.
Why review a skill that posts for you
A social media skill often receives an access token to your accounts. If it is badly written or malicious, it can post, reply in private messages or leak that token. Snyk's ToxicSkills audit found at least one security flaw in 36.82% of the 3,984 skills it analysed (Snyk). OWASP now keeps a dedicated list of the main risks of agent skills (OWASP Agentic Skills Top 10).
We read the public code of each skill below without running it, and noted whether it can post on your behalf and whether a confirmation is enforced by the code or only requested in the instructions. The full approach is on the method page. No skill is guaranteed to be safe.

We took the skills filed under Content and copywriting and Social media in our catalog and grouped them by step: writing, visuals, scheduling, then network by network. Within each section, the order is the catalog order: official publisher first, then public code, then A to Z. Writing: articles, posts and brand voice
These skills work on text. Most contain no scripts, which makes them easy to read through.

Scheduling and publishing
These tools post on your behalf. Check on each card whether confirmation before posting is enforced by the code or only requested in the instructions. Ayrshare, for example, installs a hook that asks for your confirmation before each post, message or ad spend.

Before you let an agent post
- Keep posts as drafts or in a queue, and approve them yourself.
- Give a token limited to a single account, that you can revoke.
- Be careful with skills that read profiles by scraping: your account can be restricted.
- Review private messages sent in your name, they cause the most trouble.

FAQ
Which Claude skill writes LinkedIn posts?
Anthropic's Marketing plugin writes content with instructions only, no scripts. LinkedIn Skills goes further, with scheduling and analysis, but uses third-party scrapers, which makes it a grey area. To publish, go through the scheduling tool you already use.
Can a skill post to my accounts without asking me?
Some can. Ayrshare installs a hook that asks for your confirmation before each post. Others only ask for confirmation in their instructions, which does not enforce it technically. Each card says which.
How do I remove the AI tone from a text with Claude?
