MCP servers for marketing: 33 servers by use case
The MCP servers that connect your AI assistant to your marketing tools, grouped by use: what each one can read or do, whether its code is public, its trust level under our method and how to connect it.
The short answer
An MCP server connects your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex) to a marketing tool: Search Console, Google Ads, GA4, your CRM, your newsletter. Many vendors now publish one: our catalog lists 39. Before you connect one, check two things: whether it can only read or can also act (post, send, spend), and whether its code is public. To start, read-only servers such as Google Ads MCP, Serveur MCP Microsoft Clarity or Serveur MCP Haloscan carry the least risk.
Why review an MCP server
An MCP server runs either on your machine or at the vendor's. In the first case, it is code running with your rights. In the second, you hand it access to your account without being able to read what it does with it. OWASP lists supply chain, over-broad permissions and unverified publishers among the ten main risks of agent skills (OWASP Agentic Skills Top 10). Anthropic advises using only trusted sources and auditing every bundled file (Claude documentation), and Stanford University IT gives the same advice (Stanford UIT).
When the code is public, we read it without running it. When the server is hosted and closed, it stays "not reviewed" and we only describe what the vendor documents. Details are in our review method. No server is guaranteed to be safe.
How this list is made
We took every marketing MCP server in our catalog (see also the MCP servers page) and grouped them by use. Within each section, the order is the catalog order: official publisher first, then public code, then A to Z. The trust level is shown, it is not used to sort. No link in this guide is an affiliate link.

Where to start
- SEO, with no budget: Search Console MCP.
- Ads, with no risk of changes: Google Ads MCP.
- Understand visitor behaviour: Serveur MCP Microsoft Clarity, read-only.
- Your tool has an official server: prefer it to a community server, and pick the read-only version if there is one.
Five rules for connecting an MCP server
- Prefer read-only. Add write access only for a specific task.
- Pin the version: commands with
@latestornpx -yrun code that may have changed. - Create a dedicated API key with as few rights as possible, and revoke it when you no longer need it.
- Do not connect ten servers at once: each one adds tools the agent can call.
- Keep manual confirmation for anything that posts, sends or spends.

FAQ
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor call a service's tools: read your stats, create a draft, send a campaign. The MCP server is the bridge between the assistant and the service.
Which marketing MCP servers are read-only?
Based on our review or the vendor's documentation: Google Ads MCP, Microsoft Clarity, Semrush, Haloscan and Similarweb. Search Console MCP reads your data and can submit sitemaps. The others can act depending on the rights you grant.
Is an official MCP server safer?
It comes from the service's vendor, which lowers the risk of an impostor. But many are hosted and closed: we cannot read their code, so they stay "not reviewed".
How much does an MCP server cost?
The server is often free, but it runs through your account with the vendor. Some spend credits on each request, such as DataForSEO, Semrush or Zapier. Each card shows the cost we found.
